Is there a way to move the sitekit js to the footer? The Site kit plugin with google analytics active drops my site’s page speed insights from 100% down to 93%

  • Hello @frdmsun ,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

We use the recommended placement as per Analytics guidelines. We don’t support any modifications. But the good news is users can insert the snippet manually if preferred, wherever they want. By inserting your own snippet you can keep the Analytics module active, just go into the Site Kit Settings to ensure the module is active but without having placed the snippet.

I’ll check with the team regarding the script insertion whether its allowed somewhere else or not.

    Thanks & Regards,

Thanks for any information regarding this. For the time being I’ve switched to another plug-in which periodically downloads the analytics code and serves it locally in order to keep a 100% score.

I am really sorry Site Kit couldn’t go well with you. I’ll soon confirm from the team & let you know about the script placing stuff.

    Best Regards,

I love the Site Kit plugin and use it a number of sites! But for clients that require a 99% + PageSpeed Insights score, I am using, CAOS | Complete Analytics Optimization Suite
