Move site from subdomain to domain

  • Hi

    I am about to move a site from subdomain to domain. I use Media Library Folders, and have read your information on how to move Media Library Folders.
    One thing makes me wonder, though: When I generally look up how to move a site, it is recommended not to check ‘guid’ when updating links. But in your information, the ‘guid’ is checked. So I am unsure, whether to check guid or not. Can you help me?

    I say to check the GUID option because often the GUID contains a link to the image, thus it probably should be updated if the site address is changing. But I don’t know of any plugins actually use the GUID, so it may be safe to not update it.
