Move stor data rom one WP site to another…

    I’ve inherited a site and am updating the design to a new theme. the existing site uses your plugin and i need to bring over all of the store data to my new WP theme. how do i do that? is there a way to upload an excel file?

    i cant seem to figure out how and where to do it.

    id truly appreciate your assistance.

    Are you moving to another domain, or just to another theme. A theme switch doesn’t require you to move the data, only if you move to another domain.

    If you move to another domain login to the admin panel on the old domain, look for phpmyadmin, open the database tables and export the table that ends on ‘wpsl_stores’. Do the same thing on the new domain, only import the data in phpmyadmin, instead of exporting it.

    the current site it LIVE at: https://www.oursite.com
    the new theme is being developed at: new.oursite.com

    when complete, we will make the new site the live site.
    is there any special steps i need to put into place now or later?

    The only thing you have to do is install the plugin again, and move the database field over to the new site through phpmyadmin.

    forgive me for not being real code savvy… but i can pass on directions to my client.
    is that all i need to tell him? what database field am i looking for?
