Move the sidebar to the right

  • Hi Dumitru, Is it possible to transfer the Faith theme sidebar: .site-aside-wrapper from the left to the right side of the screen? I would greatly appreciate it if this were possible because it feels more convenient to read from the left to the right but with the sidebar on the left side, it doesn’t seem okay.

    Hello,

    The theme comes with a custom page template that displays the sidebar on the right (example). However this option is not available sitewide.

    I started using the Faith Theme four months ago – not sure of the version. Then I was able to create a page with the sidebar on the right and a page with no sidebar at all. My site crashed and I had to start from scratch to rebuild the site using a new installation of Faith – version 1.3.1. Now I am unable to create pages with the sidebar on the right or with no sidebar at all. I really miss these features. How can I regain them?

    You can still create a page with the sidebar to the right if you install the custom page template. But it only works for creating pages, not posts. I can’t remember the name of the plugin, although it’s one of those required plugins that comes with the Faith theme. I think the name starts with “BB” or so. Sorry, I changed my theme not too long after I started this thread, so I cannot remember the exact name of the plugin or page builder. As for creating pages without sidebars, you can try using the full-width template plugin, which allows you to easily create custom page layouts without sidebars.
