Please help! I had WP installed as a sub file and built a whole new site.
I was ready to take down my old site and go live with the new wp site.
YES I KNOW I AM AN IDIOT I DIDNT BACK UP.

I did the steps I found at https://www.smashingmagazine.com/2013/04/08/moving-wordpress-website/
by changing the Settings under General and Permalinks.

    Then it all went south.
I lost the ability to sign on to my new site on WP.
I have now recovered the original files for index.php and .htaccess
but I still cant sign on I get the ERROR: ‘Not Found [CFN #0005]’
I have the old site still back up, but I need to recover my sign on and then properly take down the old site and move the new wp site to go live.
Please tell me I haven’t lost the whole new wp site as it took me months to get it complete!?
Dear god can someone help me?
