Move WP to another location on server?

  • I installed WP onto my server at root/public_html/wordpress-1.0.2/ and now I’m wondering if it can be moved to another folder OR if I can rename the main folder? I am trying to keep from having to type https://www.myurl.com/wordpress-1.0.2/wp-admin/admin.php each time I want to update my site…Its no trouble from ‘MY’ computer as I can use a bookmark, but to update from remote locations, this becomes tedious. Your help is appreciated and I’m greatly enjoying WP so far!
