    Hi,

    Two questions please:

    1. How can I reduce the vertical space between fields in the entire form? Is there some CSS where I can adjust the px gap?

    2. Is there any way to move the “ZIP/Postal code” field to be on the same line as City & State?

    Thanks,
    Stephen

    Hi @ssgconline

I hope you are doing good today.

    1. How can I reduce the vertical space between fields in the entire form? Is there some CSS where I can adjust the px gap?

Could you go to the Appearance tab in your form and navigate to the Form Container section? You will find there Spacing part, which can be switched to “Compact” and it reduces those spaces by default.

As for ZIP/Postal code in the same line with City & State, this will not work and will affect designs of that section, as City/State/ZIP/Country are one group and depending on which one is hidden it applies other CSS rules.

    Kind Regards,
    Kris

Thanks Kris, the Appearance TAB –> Compact worked for reducing the vertical gap.

Are you saying that because City/State/ZIP/Country is one group, there is no way to make City, State, Zip display on one line, without making them separate Input Fields?

I only want Street, City, State, Zip – it doesn’t make sense to have Zip on it own line. My preferred layout would be:
    Street
    City State Zip

    Hello @ssgconline !

    I hope you’re doing well!

Indeed, to make the layout more robust we’d recommend using input fields instead in this case (which I see you’ve already did). It’s probably to do this using some custom CSS, but it can sometimes cause other issues, especially when considering how the form will look on other screen sizes.

    Warm regards,
    Pawel

    Thanks Pawel,

I have gone with the Input field option, which then allowed me to use a Select for the States of Australia & set the default state to NSW so one less field for 99% of those using the form.

    Cheers,
    Stephen
