Moved Blog to New Host, Won't Load Site

  • We had our site sitting at GoDaddy in an account under one guy’s name. He moved to California, we opened a new account on GoDaddy in my name and he delivered a CD with all the files from the site to me. I uploaded the new files, and now I can’t get the site up in a browser. I read an article about exporting the xml file from the old site – I don’t think the guy in California did that. I think he just ftp’d all the files to his drive, then sent me a cd. How do I restore the database so WordPress lets me in to continue with my site?
