    Hello All;

    I moved my site from a subdirectory to the root. I used the information that can be found at:
    https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory
    However, I did not have the chance to log into the ADMIN interface before had as the move was compulsory. So, now it appears that my site doesn’t have any CSS and I cannot get into the /wp-admin interface to change the Permalinks in the Permalinks panel which I am not sure are setup anyway (don’t remember ever setting those up).
    So, now if I try and get into admin via

    https://www.thepaddockworks.com/wp-admin
    or
    https://www.thepaddockworks.com/thepaddockworks.com/wp-admin

    It does not work. What if anything I can do without having to reinstall?

    The site was originally
    https://www.thepaddockworks.com which pointed to public_html/thepaddockworks.com/ directory.

    Through the cPanel and hosting setup; thepaddockworks.com now points to the public_html/ directory for SSL purposes and reasons.

    I have moved the index.php and edited it.

    Everything is the same otherwise. I have copied the index.php and .htaccess files up as suggested by the above instructions.
