moved to a windows server now the pages/posts wont work…but home page is ok

I had a webhosting company that was on a linux server, however they have since gone bust, so i transfered my files to a new server…which is a windows server. (still using a mysql database). I’ve managed to log in, and the blog displays on home page, however, when i try to click on one of my posts i just get 404 messages, and the pages dont work either..same 404…is there anyway to solve this? I tried updating the Permalink structure but no luck! any suggestions to what im doing wrong?
