Moved to subdirectory – now can’t login

Hey there mludin! You should go to phpMyAdmin, and inside the WordPress database look for the table wp_options. There, look for the field siteurl. Is the URL there wrong? If so, click on the pencil icon and edit it.

Excuse my ignorance by where is phpMyAdmin? And when you say “table” wp_options, do you mean “file” wp_options?

no no, table is a table in your database…. phpMyAdmin is the interface to browse and edit the database your WP install uses. If you don’t know how to get there, you may have to check with your host….

Found it, did what you suggested, didn’t solve the problem. Deleted all files and reinstalled.

Now I am back to my original problem…. Can’t login. Don’t receive an e-mail with a password… reset password doesn’t work… not error messages, just can’t get past the login in any way.

Any ideas? PLEASE?!?

If what you are saying is you just deleted the database and installed WordPress from scratch all over again and you still can’t log in and get no email, I suggest you contact your webhost and find out what is going on. Many hosts have one click installs of WordPress so find out if yours does and use it. The host may know some things about how the server is configured that are presenting problems for WP.
