Moved WordPress to new area of hosting, Everything OK Media is strange….
-
So I moved my WordPress installation to a new section of my hosting. Long story short I upgraded to a GoDaddy account that lets me host many websites on the same quota for hosting. Everything went fine, no SQL issues, WordPress didn’t even notice the move.
BUT when I got my my media page I see this:
https://twitpic.com/o0nlh/full
I was pretty sure the file extension should be where the absolute directory structure is?
The thing is this is were wordpress was:
(1) /home/content/***/html/wp/wp-content/uploads/And now is:
(2) /home/conent/***/html/international-anarchy.com/www/wp/wp-content/uploads/I thought it must be the fact the MySQL didn’t match, and I was right! The MySQL tables had the old address (1). Quick SQL dump, textpad find and replace for (2), changed the tables to fit the old copies. BUT now it just says that instead of the extension.
Also please note, new files do not exhibit this! Example:
Any way to fix this? My media still links and works fine, just that long dir name is annoying in my media library.
