Moving 300 Static Page Website to WordPress

Need some input

i just finished building a wordpress based website for my client.

Their current website has about 300 static html pages.

Before I launch the wordpress site, what would be the best way to redirect all the static pages to the new website?

anything else you suggest with such a transition?
