Moving blog into different server / database

Hello Everyone,

I’m trying to move a few blogs that I have on my intranet into a different server. But i wanted to do a couple things:

1-I’m upgrading the wordpress version (from 2.1 to 2.7.1)
2-The blogs will be on a different server (with different name)
3-The blogs will have a different database name (I used to have only one DB per blog, but I want to use prefixes and use a few blogs per database.

After a log of research, I haven’t been able to find something to fix all my problems, so far I have moved the pages/posts using the export/import option on wordpress; but I need to move:

*Links (blogroll)
*Categories]

any comments?
