I had it set up on a WordPress theme and flipped over to the 2014 theme. At that time the blog posts from my old site didn’t get moved over.
This is an example of a blog post from old theme format:

I have a Blog page on the new site. How do I move the old blog posts to:
    https://www.posabilities4u.com/blog/…

I did export the posts and all comments to an .xml file – but the Importer program says that it has not been tested with my version of WordPress. I don’t want to mess anything up. Can someone tell me what is the best way to do this. I am not a programmer but understand basic things in WordPress. Thank you.

  • Hi, your blog posts won’t move when you switch themes. If you want to display your posts on a page called ‘Blog’ –

    1) create a new, empty page titled Blog and save it
    2) go to Administration > Settings > Reading panel. In the drop down menu for Posts page select “Blog” and save changes.
    3) go to Appearance > Menus and add the Blog page to your navigation menu

    Hope this helps!
