Moving .com to self-hosted .org – tips, tricks, recommendations

    Hi guys,
    I am new user of WordPress so please be nice with me. I am going to administrate one web page for university project and I have to move already existing page from WordPress.com to .org. Therefore I would like to ask you for some advice. I have read something about moving website and it should not be a problem. For me it seems that the easiest way is to choose one of the recommended providers (Bluehost or Siteground) and the process should be rather smooth further on. Does anybody of you have any experience with such a thing ? Or may you eventually recommend me what is the best and relatively simple way of doing such an operation ?
