Moving customized theme from subdomain to main domain

  • Hi,

    I set up a test environment at subdomain.domain.com and would now like to move the reconfigured/edited site and theme to domain.com.

    What is the best way to do this? If all sites within the network share the same theme files, shouldn’t it be as easy as activating the theme on the main domain?

    Wait… igonre the other post if you saw it.

    You mean you want subdomain.domain.com to become domain.com?

    Like all the content etc? Or just the theme?

    Yes, all the content and the customized theme. Well, there isn’t much content, just the options and css I’ve edited for the theme.

    The css is easy. Just activate the theme on the main domain. The options don’t copy over, unless you use a theme that lets you export them, which gives you the other possibility of switching the main blogs.
