moving existing block into an accordion block

I have written a lot of content and now want to move it into an accordion block. Is there a way to move this or do I have to recreate all this content.
Could use the code editor and cut and paste code to move content. Scary. It wuld be easier if I could drag the existing content.

You can easily move blocks around within an accordion block but getting them out of the accordion block is hard.
What I ended up doing was:
. open my page to view the old profile block that is outside the accordion block.
. open a separate window to edit the page.
. display one of these pages on the left of my screen and the other on the right.
. create a new profile block inside the accordion block.
. separately copy each line of the old profile block into the new profile block.
. delete the old profile block
This was a painful process. Is there a better way to do it.
