Moving media items (photos) from one folder to another responds with a “success” message, however it is not actually moved.

Here’s a video of the bug:
    https://www.loom.com/share/0ab3f84840294e50b065412b893c49be

As you can see, the latest plugin is installed (all other plugins deactivated).

The plugin used to work fine. I believe this started to malfunction after an export/restore of the website to live server. I only noticed recently, so I can’t say if it is related to WP 5.5 update.

I was about to buy pro version.. now having doubts.

    Hello @yyilmaz ,

It seems that there is something wrong in your database when you transfer it to the live site.

If you don’t want restore “files in folder” you can remove database name ‘fbv_attachment_folder’, then deactivate FileBird and activate it again.

The new table ‘fbv_attachment_folder’ will be auto created, after that you can try move your file(s) to folder to check if it works. This solution don’t remove your folder structure and attachments, so don’t worry about that. It just helps reset the relationship between files and folders.

If you have too much files in folders that are important to you, you can contact us to check for you. Once you go pro you’ll need to open a private support ticket at https://ninja.ticksy.com/, www.ads-software.com rules state that commercial products are not supported here.

Please let me know the update.

    Best regards,
    Kelly

    Hi @yyilmaz ,

Glad to hear that. I hope you could leave FileBird a nice review. Thank you so much.

    Hi,

Same issue, moving media to folder seems to work but moving is not saved.
Try to delete fvb table (fbv_attachment_folder doesn’t exist), then desactivate then delete plugin, re-install et activate it.

Still the same, doesn’t word anymore since WP 5.5 update.

    Thanks for help
