    Hi!

I have my own website, but my blog is hosted on HubSpot. I would like to move it from HS to WordPress. I know it can be done, but I don’t know what I need to do it.

It’s very important that I do not lose any of the blog posts (I have over 700) OR comments when transferring.

I’ve looked through the forums and can’t find anything on it, any help would be greatly appreciated. I need this as quickly as possible, so even if it’s just a tutorial that would be great.

    Thanks!

  • I think that you’re in the wrong forum. You need to go to https://en.forums.wordpress.com/

www.ads-software.com is for self hosted sites.

No, I don’t think so. I host the WordPress on my own website. I’ve already installed it and everything…layout etc. I used the HS before I got my own site, which is hosted through iPower. I just want to know how to move the blog entries and comments. ??

The Codex is a great place to search for answers to these questions: Importing_Content

That said, I don’t think there is am importer available for HubSpot.

Ok I misunderstood…I didn’t know that hubspot was another blogging platform. The word hosting threw me off.

I looked on the codex and can’t see hubspot mentioned here.

When you export your content from hubspot, what kind of file format does it output?

There is currently no ‘easy’ way to go about this. You can import the posts by using your HubSpot blog feed but you would miss out on comments.

There is an API available to HubSpot medium and large customers that allows you to pull posts and comments however it would take some custom development to wrap this into something functional and easy to use.

Talk to your IMC or CSM to make sure you are on the same page.

You might want to give these guys a call – https://blogwranglers.com/moving-day-a-migration-from-hubspot-to-wordpress

Sounds like hubspot migration is pretty complex.

Just so you know: I haven’t myself gone through this and this option is a paid option.
