• Hi, I have a wordpress.com site with a premium plan which I am moving to a self hosted site using a “light” version of the same theme (Perle). The premium theme includes a few features which won’t be automatically available now – e.g. follow blog via email widget, contact form, etc.

I know there are plugins I can use to do the things I want, but I’m trying to reproduce the site as exactly as I can, so I’m trying to understand.

Would features like follow blog via email widget and contact form be part of wordpress.com, part of Jetpack, or provided by the theme?

Is there any way I can find out how those features are provided so I can copy them as much as possible?

    Do those questions make sense?

    Thanks

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

You can get a lot of WordPress.com featured stuff with Jetpack plugin.

Thanks. Jetpack is able to do email notifications on the comment form, but doesn’t seem able to provide an email subscription widget to go in the footer, nor a “latest posts” widget or shortcode, both of which I had previously.
