Since 2011, I have had two blogs with custom domains on Blogger, but am making the move to www.ads-software.com. Have had Universal Google Analytics installed on both Blogger blogs since 2012.

A web developer is combining my two Blogger blogs into one www.ads-software.com blog, so it is still in test mode. Consequently, the Google Site Kit plugin has not been installed yet.

I would like to use Google Site Kit to transfer my Universal Google Analytics stats from Blogger to WordPress. But I am unclear on how to do this since I am combining my two blogs into one on WordPress. I will be keeping one of the two custom domains from Blogger, and will be eliminating the other one.

    Hi there @celebrate7022,

Firstly best of luck with the move to WordPress, hopefully all goes well.

Secondly you can easily select your preferred Google Analytics property on your new WordPress site when using Site Kit. While the plugin doesn’t support the placement of multiple Analytics property snippets or display populate Site Kit dashboards with more than one property it will allow you to select one property or create a new one during when connecting the Google Analytics module within Site Kit.

If you are looking to keep both snippets active on your site you could insert the snippets manually, and not via Site Kit. When connecting the Analytics module within Site Kit the plugin will however detect the first snippet place on your site, and show you stats based on this snippet within the Site Kit dashboard. You can still view stats from the other property but only over on Analytics directly, at analytics.google.com.

We have been discussing the workflow of connecting Analytics within Site Kit when multiple snippets exist, so this may change going forward. For the moment let me know if you have any questions, or if you need any assistance with the above.

Also note that independent to Site Kit, from my checks on the Analytics side it doesn’t seem possible to combine stats from multiple properties into one.
