Moving installation and database content to new server

  • I have to move the entire WordPress installation and the themes to a new server, including all SQL-entries. I’ve successfully imported the SQL, but moving the installed files didn’t work, so I thought I should perform a clean install with the existing database. The version I had was 2.0.2, but when I install 2.0.4, I get ?Your database is out-of-date. Please upgrade.?. That doesn’t work.

    Is there a way to make it compatible, or can anyone give me a wordpress 2.0.2-version to download?

    Details? Did you ‘run’ the wp-admin/upgrade.php? Was there an error?

    What kind of shape is the db in, was there an optimize or repair performed?
