Moving local WP from one mac to another

  • Hi. I’m pretty new to WordPress and MAMP and need to move the site I’m working on locally to a new mac. I’ve found plenty of stuff on here about going live but not moving from one machine to another. Can someone please either explain or give me a link to somewhere which explains (simply) how I do this? Thank you!

  • It’s the same process, except you don’t even have to change URLs if you’re using localhost.

    Basically, you have to transfer the files and database from one mac to another.
