Moving menu under header

Hello,

Love the simple theme but would like to make a few alterations. I would like to move the menu to underneath the header. I’ve tried altering the css (swapping before and after in the function code) but although I’ve managed to move the menu bar above the title line, and move everything underneath the header, I haven’t managed to just move the menu bar.
