Moving mistake Can I recover

Hours and hours searching .. please help!

I have 5 domains. Domain name 1 was my primary. The time came due on that domain and I decided I didnt want to renew it. The Blog was under another domain name which was a sub of the primary domain I tossed.

I took all of the files that were in the original “blog” folder and downloaded it to my hard drive. I didnt do the export first which would have produced an .xml.

I deleted the database that it used to live in. I had godaddy make a new database on my new primary and install wordpress on a folder under my new primary domain.

So now I had “design by boriqua” (primary domain) and I created a folder called blog on it which was the new database.

I deleted all the files in the new database that godaddy created and uploaded all the files I had downloaded from the old database. I changed the config so that the new database was in there and the new login password.

I only get a cant connect with database error now. I sure would like to get all those posts I made back. Tell me there is a file I can modify so I can get all the old messages in the new blog!

The old blog database is now gone and completely inaccessible. All I have are the entire contents of the old wordpress folder on my hard drive

Or tell me there is no way so I can begin openly weeping.
