I installed my blog at xyz.com/blog because I expected to created a whole website on the domain and the blog was just one part of it. But I’m now considering making WordPress the CMS for my whole site, using the Pages function to display all the other content I would have created myself anyway.

So my question is, how difficult is it to move my entire blog up a directory level, so that it instead of xyz.com/blog it would be at the base domain level of xyz.com? Do I have to install fresh again in the new location and do an export/import AND reset all the plugins and options back to the way I like it? I’m hoping it’s easier than that (especially with all the optional settings I’ve tweaked)
