Moving my wordpress from free webhost to paid.

  • I had my wordpress blog up and running most recently at https://www.coerceddelusion.com. I am still using the same domain but i have forwarded the dns to my new webhost. This time i am using a paid host rather than free because on the free host my website was worse than dial up. The problem i have now is i cant get my wordpress blog to run. I have uploaded all the files that i had on my old wordpress via ftp, i have changed my SQL database, and i have edited the config file. I am pretty new to working with wordpress and im not sure what other information you might need but any help is appreciated.

    T-p that is actually the article that i originally tried to follow but just couldn’t get it. i must have skipped a part. And yes forums the website is back up right now. I switched it back over to the original free host (hence why its so slow) for now so i can make sure i save all my posts and try to move it again. Just now getting the time to give it another go ill post back if i have another issue and thanks guys for the help. ??
