Moving old domain name on new website

Hello everyone,
For hosting reasons I had to move a site and would need help figuring out how to move the original domain name to the new hosting.

I did this:

I migrated the whole wp site to the new hosting and developed the design on a new domain (www.newdomain.com).

Now I would like to keep the original domain name (www.originaldomain.com) and transfer it.

What should I do to do it correctly.

P.s. All the images on the site at the moment point to the new domain (www.newdomain.com).
