Moving Posts and Users

  • What if I want to install a fresh install of WordPress so that after years of using WordPress we start with a clean install and then move all the posts and only the media being used for those posts and leave all the old remnants of plugins and media behind and start fresh with only what we have live?

    I have tried moving posts with the export/import in the admin panel and for some reason it’s not 100% and really I would say it does not get the media about 20% off the time. We have about 1000 posts and about 200 Authors. Is there a better plugin or way to just move the posts to a fresh install?

  • I heard some people use this plugin to import/export their data (this is not an advertisement, it’s just my observation).
    However I have no idea if it will suit your needs.
