Moving site to root

  • Hi

    After moving my wordpress website from a sub folder to the root, i had to reinstall wordpress using fantastico and copied the files overwriting the public html folder and now its come up with just a basic blog?!?! and none of my data. any ideas?

    Can someone help!! i have lost all my site!!

    Two questions:

    1. Was your WordPress Database deleted / overwritten when installing via fantastico?
    2. If it wasn’t, is your wp-config set to the correct database and table_prefix?
