If you want to set up a WordPress project locally, you need a suitable local server. You could use https://localwp.com, for example.

    Hello @shihab2022,

Hope you are fine. Have you ever tried the Duplicator plugin? I think this plugin might do this job for you. I recently tried out migrating my live website to the local by using ‘Duplicator’. It was a success. Hope you are good at using MAMP, WAMP, Local or any WordPress Development environment tools. Here is a guide on how you can do this task without any confusion.

Never hesitate to raise further questions.

    Thank You,
    Jazeel

Yes and no. Both provide you with a web server and a database service. However, localwp makes this a little easier for you in terms of the interface and handling in relation to WordPress.

It is entirely up to you which way you want to go. If you want to use XAMPP, I would recommend contacting their community if you have any questions about their technology. With regard to WordPress, you would have to store the access data that XAMPP provides you with for the database in the wp-config.php file. As far as I know, you don’t have to do this with localwp, as the tool does this for you.
