Moving WordPress Broke Yop Poll

Hi Team,
I migrated the wordpress installation to a new domain. In order to migrate I took a SQL dump of the entire wordpress database and then did a find & replace on old host name with the new one.
The problem i’m having is that, after the migration none of the yop poll option values did not show up in the yop poll admin panel. Also none of the templates were loaded.
What could be the reason for this?
In order to get this fixed, i had to delete all the yop poll files, yop poll tables as well as the yop poll entries in the wp_options tables and reinstall from the beginning. I lost all the previous poll data because of this.
What are the right steps to follow with regard to yop poll, when migrating the wordpress installation.
