Moving wordpress issue with image display
-
I am in the process of moving a bunch of wordpress blogs to a new host. The issue I have run into is that the images on the new host are not displaying in the same manner as the ones on the old host.
What seems to be happening is that they display garbled, some with multicolored blocks and some are just not there anymore.
The steps I took to move the blog:
Used phpmyadmin to dump the DB
used filezilla to move all the files over to new host
edited the config to the new db user and pwd
Then using my host file I test the new ones and then the display issue pops up.This has happened on about half of the moved blogs the other half display perfectly all following the same steps
The blogs were on version 2.9.2 so when I first noticed the issue arise I updated wordpress (3.4.2) and all the plugins even though none are activated. This did not change the display of the images. Updating the working ones did not change a thing and did not bring up the display issue.
Any ideas or advice on this? I am probably missing something stupid as this is the first time I have done a move to a new host. If I need to post anymore info I will gladly do so.
Thanks for your time, effort and help.
