Moving wordpress site to the root folder

    I will like to install a fresh wordpress to the root folder and copy the entire backup site from subfolder to the root folder.

    How best can i achieve this without having database error.

    You can use the Duplicator plugin.

    It’s very easy with this plugin.

    I have an issue login in to the WordPress.. ( I cannot login)
    i receive the error msg

    HTTP ERROR 500

    what can i do?

    @sholis,

    This may be an issue caused by a conflicting plugin. If you moved this with Duplicator, I would think you would have the same credentials to login.

    Do you have access via FTP to your WordPress install? This way you could disable plugins and find which one is having this conflict.
