• I have the blog luckydshostel.webege.com (hosted on 000webhost.com), and I want to add it to the main website for the company, luckydshostel.com (hosted on Parcom.net).

Are there any competent tutorials out there to help me move this blog across so that it shows up as luckydshostel.com/blog ? I’m a little hesitant as I don’t want to mess with the main website at all, just host it on the same account and use the /blog address.

    I’m a novice at best!

    Thanks

    Helen

I’ve tried that, and I just can’t seem to get it to work. The blog is very new, and I’m happy just to reinstall a fresh WordPress to the hosting and import everything bit by bit again, but even that doesn’t seem to work.

I edited the wp config file to reflect the new database I created, but when I visited luckydshostel.com/blog, it just comes up with a page error ‘page cannot be found’.

Does it matter whether the database created is mysql 4 or 5?

You need to re-install WordPress in the /blog sub-folder.
