Moving wordpress to windows server – path issue
-
Hi,
I decided to have a local copy of my WordPress blog on my XP machine to do all the development there instead of on the live site (live site is linux).
I followed the Moving WordPress guide at https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Moving_WordPress.Database connection is working however I’m now getting the following error when trying to view the site/admin interface:
Warning: main(C:\webserver\htdocs\digitalcamera\wp-includes/functions-compat.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in C:\webserver\htdocs\digitalcamera\wp-includes\functions.php on line 3I’ve changed all the paths from https://www.previousdomain.com to https://localhost in the sql database file before importing it.
Also, I changed the fileupload real path to c:/webserver/htdocs/digitalcamera/wp-contentAny idea why it’s giving me this error? The path seems correct, apart from the forwardslash just in front of functions-compat.php.
thanks
Steve
