Moving WordPress website to another website

  • Hey there! I am using wordpress on my website and lately I have big issues with hosting, so I want to move it. Now, my question: if I move all my wordpress back-up to a new wordpress installation on another hosting provider, will I lose my rankings in Google?

  • If you use the same domain, you should not lose any rankings, but that is dependant on how smooth the transition is, obviously.
