Moving WP to a new server – 2 queries

Two questions if anyone can help..
Query 1
My host offers an upgrade service for WP.
I didn’t delete wp-content/cache prior to upgrading from V2 to V2.0.2.
Should I delete it now (ie after the upgrade)?

Query 2
I am moving my v2.0.2 WP blog to a new server. The current mysql db name is oldusername_wrdp1.

What do I need to do to move the mysql db to the new server? Eg do I need to change the name of the mysql db? What’s involved? Just change the name? Or I need to change other stuff somewhere? (I know zero about mysql)
