• hi there,

i?′m just planning to start to work with wp 1.5 and would like to migrate my old layout (https://eyetag.twoday.net) to the system. to me it seems rather difficult after they use mainly style sheet with tons of included files called ‘skins’. a demo of such an export can be found on the site, most recent article.

in case it won?′t work like that: anybody seen a wp theme around, that looks similar or uses same elements..?

    thanks folks!

  • Have a look around this for information on how the theme system works in WP 1.5. You’ll need to know a bit about CSS and things like that to convert your layout, but that shouldn’t be too hard and people on this board can help you out if you get stuck.

thanks avenir, that looks to be a good point to start from.
but i?′m still wondering if there isn?′t any easier access to this? it?′s just so time consuming to re-code all of this and equip it additionally with dozens of plugs for a better backend functionality. i guess i?′ll have to watch out for a good theme with somehow the same structure. any suggestions? which is the most complete theme ressource?
alex?′s theme browser seems to be most usable, but are all of them in there? btw: are there any themes that include the admin.css? that would give a much more conistent look to the whole thing…

    thanks!

    hi again,

sorry for stressing too much on it, but i?′m wondering if nobody has ever thought of it so far.
i?′m still looking for themes that include the admin interface (admin.css and whatever is needed for this).

    thanks for your support!
