MP sending post notifications when I upload to media?

I have a lot of images built into my website design and were all uploaded when I designed my site. As such, I rarely add NEW media. But I have a post notification to send out when new posts are posted, easy peasy, it’s about one a day, no biggie. But uploading new images ALSO triggered the post? I just uploaded two images and for some reason, the system sent out notes to say “new post” with the link to nothing but the filename for the image.

I went into the “activation” area for my post notifications, and I have posts selected, but I don’t see a way to say “YES to POSTS AND PAGES, and NO to MEDIA”.

It has to be something simple, I’m just totally blanking here.
