MP3 Audio buttons don’t show

  • Thank you for the nice theme!
    I have added MP3’s on some pages but the audio control buttons don’t show. People don’t know where to play the audio. If you click on the area where the button should be you can see the cursor change. In order to make the player work I have to click on it a few times. There aren’t any other controls visible on the player. Is this how the player always looks on this theme?

    That’s a WordPress core feature, not a theme feature.

    I tried installing 2 MP3 plugins to see if it would look better. The (mb.miniAudioPlayer) displayed the mp3 links the same way as the theme does.

    Then the MP3-jplayer plugin was just a round play button but I didn’t like it. I have no way to centralize it and it was real small. It would display off to the left.

    I am wanting a player to display like a player with the buttons showing.

    You said it was a core issue. How can my issue be a wordpress core issue if everything else works fine? Is it fixable? Thank you!

    I added the plugin:
    PB oEmbed HTML5 Audio – with Cache Support

    This seemed to take care of the issue with the player not having buttons. Thank you for your answer anyway! ??
