It seems android is working now, so I just need to make the change for chrome.

You need to upload a valid mp3 and ogg file for each track in your playlist as per the fields suggest. The plugin will work perfectly on all browsers and devices if you do this. If both mp3 and ogg are available the browsers/devices know which files to use. All that logic is built into the plugin.

I have verified that the mp3’s are valid. they play fine on my local pc. however accessing the same file on chrome for Win7 wont play it. If I manually open the mp3 by doing an open with Chrome on my PC, still wont play. The ogg’s play fine. I have verified the issue with another user at another location also on Win7 with Chrome.

Let me know what can be done to get this working.

Ok as the files are not playing in the web browser on their own (running locally), then it is definitely a problem with the files themselves. What program did you use to create/convert the files?

They were ripped with iTunes and then edited with Audition. I also tried stripping the tags from them.

ok, i figured it out. In audition when saving the trimmed file, there is a checkbox to Include markers and other metadata. I unchecked it and the new sample track works. Thanks for the pointers!
