MP3 Url under WP-Content Not accessible

    Playing MP3 files is not possible anymore for some reason. I’m guessing an update to WordPress or plugin has failed for us.

    The URL where the MP3 files are uploaded are ie: https://www.bridgetulsa.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/FeastofTrumpets.mp3

    When you try and play that file from the podcast fee with the embeded player it does nothing. If you paste this URL into a browser to see if the file is there the site shows a 404 error.

    Is this a plugin issue/WP Update or other issue…this use to work ??

    If your wp-content folder is unrestricted, then we recommend starting by testing if you have a conflict with the latest version of the plugin by rolling back to the 2.4.2 version. If you still see the issue then you will want to run a theme and plugin conflict test.

    Once you have more information on where the conflict lies we can help you with a resolution. Let us now what you find out.
