    Hi support,

I just installed the free version of this Print & PDF plugin on my testserver and the initial installation works great so far.
In the Misc tab i see a prompt to do an mPDF library upgrade to version 8.0.8 (recommended).
After clicking the upgrade button the upgrade prompt is still there (???). Now generating a pdf file causes a critical error. The cause seems to be that in the directory /wp-content/plugins/pdf-print/ the complete mpdf directory is missing.
How can i do the recommended mpdf upgrade (v 8.0.8) without running into this issue?
I’m running PHP 7.4 and the latest version of WordPress.

    Regards, Benny.

    Hi,

Please follow the next steps in order to update mpdf manually via FTP:
    1) Download and install FTP client (for example, Filezilla).
    2) Open the FTP client and enter your FTP access credentials (host, username and password) to access files on your server.
    3) Navigate to ‘yourwordpresswebsite/wp-content/plugins/pdf-print
    4) Delete (remove) ‘mpdf’ folder.
    5) Please use this link and download the archive. https://bestwebsoft.com/wp-content/plugins/paid-products/plugins/pdf-print-mpdf/?action=loading_library
    6) Unpack the archive to ‘yourwordpresswebsite/wp-content/plugins/pdf-print.

I am sorry, but this does not work.

The folder structure of the downloaded archive is quite different from the folder structure of the free pdf-print version. However, it is similar to the folder structure of the pdf-print-pro version. So, it appears to me that andrewsupport advises to replace in the free version the old mPDF7 library with the newer mPDF8 library of the paid version.

    Additional help is needed !

    Frans

    Hi,

We apologize for the misunderstanding. Please unpack the downloaded archive and paste the “vendor” folder to the ‘wp-content/uploads’ directory.
