    Hi,

Thanks for the Plugin, really appreciate your time and efforts.

Using your plugin created some pages. These page urls got created under mpg-sitemap.xml file. Which is also got linked into robots.txt file automatically.

My site uses Yoast SEO plugin, It creates xml map called “sitemap_index.xml”. But our site map(mpg-sitemap.xml) is not listed inside it.

Now will crawlers find our site map(mpg-sitemap.xml) by referring robots.txt or Will it ignore after referring sitemap_index.xml created by Yoast.

    Thank you

  • Hey, @arj23 Thanks for the feedback!

If the link to the sitemap is in the robots.txt file, then the search engines will find it, but to be sure – you can add a link to mpg-sitemap.xml to Google Search Console (there is no limitation: you can add to Search Console even 10 sitemaps, and all of them will be indexed)
