• Hi, hope someone could give me a hint.
    I’m using mqTranslate together with qTranslate slug, wp 3.9.1.
    Everything is working out fine, except for internal links in pages and posts: if I insert a link to another page or post, the link becomes “absolute” and it doesn’t consider the language anymore (the website is in Italian and English).
    That is to say, that both the Italian and English version of the page link to the Italian subpage.
    I’ve tried deactivating qTranslate slug, but that doesn’t seem to be the problem.
    Any idea?
    Thanks a lot

    At this time, there is no solution for internal links.
    On our web sites, we make them link to the correct page manually.

    Ok, I can manage to insert them manually, but have you found a workaround for the permalink translation?
    I mean, if I insert the link manually, what I obtain in the page address is (for example)

    /en/soci/seco/

    instead of
    en/members/seco/

    (if I manually insert them, I obtain a Page Not Found error)

    Thanks a lot in the meantime, hope you will be able to fix it soon!

    Hi – how to manually insert the links? What’s the proper code?

    Thank you!

    got it, just use the tags for the links as well, like so:

    <a>?page_id=2307<!--:--><!--:de-->?page_id=2307&lang=de<!--:--><!--:ru-->?page_id=2307&lang=ru<!--:-->"><!--:en-->Link1<!--:--><!--:de-->Link2<!--:--><!--:ru-->Link3<!--:--></a>
