ms_snippets table slow query on wpms

  • What is ms_snippets table for? I see it has a slow query. Can I delete it? I am not using the plugin for every site on the network, there is no need to run something in general.

    Hi @diegpl,

    The ms_snippets table is used for running snippets across the entire network, and for sharing snippets between individual sites. It can be used even if Code Snippets is not active on every site in a network.

    Currently there isn’t an option to disable this cross-site functionality. If you’re really opposed to it, I can see about adding a switch in a future version to turn it off.

    Also, yes, you can safely delete the table, but it will likely be recreated.

    Hi, hmmm, that would be great. Because it seems that these are really causing a slow query on sites that have ur plugin activated. But this plugin is great, just a small improvement about performance is needed I think. Really thank you! ??
