    Hi Dennis,

First, thank you for the excellent plugins!

I updated WordPress (4.2.1) and a couple of plugins yesterday. Since then, MSLS is gone from my menu and I can’t figure out why.

I’m using the Genesis framework and the menu is added as a “custom menu” widget to “Header Right” area.

I think the problem is my menu is not set as Primary. If I do make it primary, a new default menu with MSLS appears under my custom menu (still no MSLS in the custom one though).

In the “Menu Settings” of the plugin, “Theme Location” is empty unless the menu is primary.

How do I put MSLS back in my custom menu? It used to work perfectly without making my menu primary and I don’t know what changed.

    Thanks,
    Felix

Do you have the latest version of the plugin? I have also a theme from StudioPress (Genesis) and it works just fine. I don’t think that you have to set the menu to primary but it should have a location, I guess.

I do have the latest version. It was working perfectly before, I don’t know what changed.

I created a custom location for my menu, so that I could assign a theme location in the MSLS settings that is not “Primary”.

I think if I were to put that new menu location somewhere in my theme, MSLS would display. But my theme uses the “custom menu” widget in the “Header Right” area to display the main nav menu. And MSLS doesn’t show up in there anymore.

I’ll continue my research, thanks for the reply.

Just to let people know, I fixed it by reverting back to the 0.3.1 version.

The previous version allowed me to leave the “Theme Location” blank in the <select> menu. I don’t know exactly why, but it displays MSLS in my custom menu when I do so.

Would you check if the current development-version is working for you? Please have a look here: https://github.com/lloc/MslsMenu There is also a link to the zip.

I just copy-pasted the content of MslsMenu.php from Github and it works. The current development-version has an “Empty” option for the Theme Location that makes it work with my theme.

    Thank you!
