Much Improved

  • Many people had problems when they were pushed to switch over to this plugin. It is much improved and the people at Inpsyde are quite helpful. They have helped with any problems we have had.

    The plugin has improved over time, currently on 1.9.3, and they seem to be fixing more issues with each update. It does have a large number of users according to the plugin page data.

    I think lots of the original problems were more to do with paypal/woocommerce and the people writing and maintaining the plugin received the blame. Which probably wasn’t fair. Paypal are awkward to deal with.

    I don’t think the current rating for the plugin on Woocommerce.com or on www.ads-software.com fairly reflects where this plugin is now.

    PayPal Payments is already by far the most widely used PayPal integration for WooCommerce. It can sometimes be a challenge to make it work for everyone, in every setup, and there are a bunch of open issues, but the team is committed to bringing you the latest and greatest PayPal features all in one plugin.

    Many of the recent compatibility improvements were only possible thanks to user feedback. It is always appreciated as it helps the team develop the integration in the right direction.
